Botanical name: Delonix regia

A shot near BDA Complex, Indiranagar B'lore
Its May and Month of Gulmohar. B'lore being the garden city, advent of May adorns the most part of city with blazing red gems. All my way through office-to-home and back, bewitching gulmohar tufts are spread up like beautiful crimson carpet. Whole street lit up with flames of red light, is breath-taking. Its as though the nature showering rain of flowers or laying the red carpet of flowers.... welcoming u. Its hard to take of eye's from red studded trees. The name "Gulmohar", describe itself...Gul means flower( or red ) and mohar means peacock...hence the name peacock flower ... as said by the writer Mr K.L. Noatay.
The season of gulmohar, enthrallment red flowers... energise me, exalts my imagination with fresh encouraging thoughts, filling amorous feelings. The intensity of hotness of red flower is higher than the sun. Its awesome to watch among vibrant green leaves. When everything looks like drab, the stunning red flowers makes my day... eliminating all the exhaustion and tensions. B'lore burning in this summer compartively from previous year, gulmohars medicate the burns with cool, enchanting scenes.Sometimes I think, when people are trying to avert scorching sunlight [ similar to the gloomy days of life ], loosing lusture by evening....gulmohars stand boldly in the firing environ with all smiles and beauty ..bestowing message to the people, "Boldly facing the heats of life, will never fade the lustre of life. Keeping confidence and smile, fills the beauty in life-style."Lemme try to pen down a small poem .............

Came again April-May Summer,
filling environs with bummer.

Slowly appears tufts of orange-red,
unfolding to form carpet of wine-red.

Lits the street with blazing red light,
captivating U with glorious, stunning sight.

Glowing red beauty touches your heart,
enthusiasm, energy fill in every part.

I'm here to make your summer-day,
thats what gulmohar wants to say.
